Prof. MMag. Dr. Alfred Gutschelhofer (Head of the Institute)

Alfred Gutschelhofer researches entrepreneurship and corporate development with a special focus on academic start-ups and their promotion in Styria. He is Professor and Head of the Institute for Corporate Management and Entrepreneurship and former Rector of the University of Graz. Under his leadership, the first start-up office was initiated at a university together with the Styrian Economic Chamber to promote academic start-ups. In 2022, he was awarded the Grand Decoration of Honor in Gold of the Republic of Austria.
