The research focus on corporate management and public management examines strategic corporate management, control and planning in the private and public sectors. The book series "Styrian Spirits of Management and Entrepreneurship" focuses on alternating topics in this regard. The first volume deals with strategic corporate management in the higher education sector. Further publications have been conceived on the acceptance of new management methods, on management instruments at universities, on management in expert organizations and on gender budgeting. Cooperation: Cooperation of all kinds continues to gain in importance. This development can also be observed at universities. With regard to the higher education sector, the current research project is investigating the risks that can arise when different cooperation partners work together and how these can be counteracted.
